I recently rented a DVD as I was feeling bore. I went to theDVD shop n my eyes fell upon the movie “MUSIC & LYRICS” starring Hugh Grant
& Drew Barrymore. I instantly brought it & saw it. The movie isn’t that
bad but the main song in the movie “way back into love” has become my favorite
& I listen to that song most of the time.

The Money suckers

How do you feel when u don’t sleep for days, just sit in front of the book to revise lessons for days during the exam & when the results are out you are quite depressed???? Well this is what happening these days to most of the students of engineering in my university. We just struggle each day to learn the things, solve 100s of numerical & finally give the exam. The result most of the time would either be a “D” grade or “F” grade (D is for just pass & F is for fail). This is the condition of students in BPUT. Some days back I with a few friends of mine just interacted with a teacher about the results & we were just shocked to hear what he said.

We heard that most of the faculties with a little or no experience at all (i.e., just passed out from the college the same year) go to the university to evaluate copies just for the sake of getting money. The more number of copies means more money. Whatever the student writes they simply just either point it to be correct or just put a cross on it. Even if the answer is correct but written in a different style is a wrong answer. And horrible is in the case of subjects involving mostly numerical. If the answer is correct & the steps are wrong then that solution is correct & if the process is correct but the final answer is wrong due to some wrong calculation, they simply cross it. The worst part is when questions come from outside the syllabus. Once it so happened, I was giving again a paper & had prepared very well, but the moment I saw the questions I became tensed. The reason was most of the questions were not from that semester subject but were from the higher semester ,which I found later after consulting some of my friends. I failed in that paper & even no grace mark was given for it. Another fault I found was when a friend of mine just passed in a subject with good marks & he had not written anything in the paper & had walked out of the room after 1 hour. Friends sitting nearby him had seen the paper had been cut by that guy & he was also sure that he would also fail in it, but after the declaration of the result & that too after 2 months (earlier it was 20-25 days & the result was perfect) he passed with a very good grade & rest either failed in it or just passed with “D”. If a student fails in a particular subject he/she has to give it again by paying every time fees of Rs 200/- per paper untill the student passes in the subject.

Students have protested many a times but the same time police would intervene in it & try to put students in jails. No one really listens or care about all these things. Last time a protest was done; local political party members got mixed with the students & started destroying public properties.

This is BPUT where money is spent like water & anybody who wishes to spend money is welcome to this university.

The fate of Hanuman

My classes just got over & I with a friend decided to go to the Mart for a little bit shopping. We collected our products that we needed & went to the billingcounter to pay. Just at the counter the thing that came to my sight were the balls
for kids to play. The balls were not just any ordinary balls but the picture of Hanuman was there.Actually the balls are the special edition balls to promote the movie
"Hanuman Returns". But is this the way to promote by manufacturing balls?? I agree that there were still other products like the caps n toys. But promoting Hanuman by imprinting on ball is a crime because it harms the sentiments of hindus.

As kids are attracted by balls so they will convince their parents to buy these balls. When bought the next instance will be the kicking of balls by these kids.IN Hindu homes it is taught to respect n bow to god.But what these balls will do is some disrespect to the hindu religion. Kids will eventually learn to kick gods n the respect for gods will end soon.

But one thing I was surprised about is that no step has been taken by any person to stop
the manufacture of these balls.Some days ago there was this news that some American
website is producing innerwears with the picture of hindu gods on them & selling them over
the internet.The whole state or nation(i am still confused if it was nation wide or statewide) became furious & tried to stop all these by registering cases against it.There were protests against it. Evnetually that site had to stop all those selling .People have this vision abt what is happening outside the country but what I find here is people are becoming a blind eye coz the thing is that is happening here is good & the thing happening outside our country is bad even if the thing might be same.

Now what will happen is that people will start purchasing all these thereby disrespecting
own religion bcoz its India n the thing that happens in India is always right.

THE ULTIMATE STORING DEVICE

As I sit in my room I start thinking of my future & the past. Questions come to
my mind & I sometimes try hard to find the answers to them. when the past comes to my
mind I sometimes become sad or sometimes a big wide smile comes to my mind. The smile is
for those funniest things that i had done or for the way i behaved those days.The sadness
is for them whom I miss or some mistakes of the past.

The future cannot be said as it cotains the surprises of the life. Every second
of the future time brings a new surprise to our lives.These surprise become the past &
when we again think about them they either make us sad or bring that wide smile on our
faces.And all this happens in that damn thing called "THE BRAIN". Yes that is what I am
saying it here. My brain or our brain is the ultimate thinking device that works throughout
our life without a stop. It is the ultimate storage device that has been given as a gift
by god to us.

We live in a world full of Electronic devices that has been created using this
brain but can all this replace the brain? The answer is no. This unique gift gifted by
god to living creatures is the only device that stores so much data that it cannot be
stored in millions of storage device. Once a person sees a new thing he/she remembers
the whole life(however its different for people who have this memory problem). The brain
is like the media player which can be switched on at any time & the thing comes in front
of us.Whatever the age of those things might be.
